Summary:
The Marketing & Strategy Associate supports the development of brand partnership campaigns from early-stage ideation through pitch development, collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing, sales, and creative teams. Responsibilities include building and formatting pitch decks, supporting creative concept development, conducting research, and assisting with talent sourcing.
The position plays a key role in helping the team respond to inbound RFPs and develop proactive campaign ideas, while gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of branded content and integrated marketing campaigns. Strong organization, creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Pitch & Deck Development
● Build and format pitch decks using existing templates and brand guidelines
● Translate strategic direction into polished, client-ready presentations
● Source imagery, references, and visual assets to support storytelling
Creative & Strategic Support
● Assist in developing campaign concepts, content formats, and storytelling ideas
● Conduct research on trends, destinations, and brand categories
● Support the development of thematic tentpoles and repeatable IP
Talent & Creator Research
● Identify and research creators aligned with campaign goals
● Build talent shortlists and support early-stage outreach coordination
● Gain exposure to influencer and creator partnership strategy
Project & Team Support
● Help manage smaller RFPs and lower-lift pitch opportunities
● Provide support during high-volume periods across multiple campaigns
● Assist in organizing case studies, templates, and pitch materials
● Additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills:
● Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished, high-quality work
● Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Ability to take direction and translate ideas into clear, compelling materials
● Strong communication and collaboration skills
● Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
● Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Google Workspace tools
● Curiosity and eagerness to learn across marketing, media, and brand partnerships
● Ability to stay proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented
● Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively
Qualifications/Experience/Education:
● 1–3 years of experience in marketing, media, communications, or related fields (internships included)
● Strong interest in travel, culture, media, and storytelling
● Experience building presentations or working in Google Slides or Canva
● Familiarity with social media, content creation, or influencer marketing is a plus
● Experience working in a fast-moving environment (agency, startup, media company) is a plus
● Comfortable working remotely and communicating via Slack and email
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
Nuts and Bolts:
● Full-time independent contractor position with monthly compensation
● Remote position (i.e., working from your home office)
● Based in a North American time zone (working hours: approximately 9 AM – 5:30 PM)
