Protelicious is seeking an experienced advisor, executive, or operator to join the company in a strategic, high-impact advisory capacity. The Advisory Board Member, Strategic Health Partnerships and Benefits Access, will help guide payer strategy, employer benefits access, reimbursement-adjacent pathways, strategic partnerships, and category development as Protelicious expands across consumer, healthcare, and wellness channels.

This role is designed for a leader who wants to contribute high-level strategic insight, market access expertise, and ecosystem perspective without day-to-day operational involvement.

Key Role Responsibilities

Advise on Strategic Health Partnerships and Benefits Access

Provide strategic guidance on payer, employer, PBM, and benefits channel opportunities that can support adoption and scale

Help identify how Protelicious can be positioned within employer-sponsored health plans, corporate wellness programs, metabolic health offerings, and preventative health benefit structures

Advise on how strategic partnerships can accelerate access, distribution, and long-term category leadership

Support Payer, PBM, and Benefit Design Strategy

Provide perspective on how products gain traction within self-insured employer environments, payer ecosystems, and health benefit programs.

Advise on pathways for positioning Protelicious as an adjacent wellness program for GLP1 users.

Support Category Creation and Market Positioning

Help define and position the emerging GLP-1 Companion and metabolic nutrition category

Provide input on how Protelicious can be translated from a consumer product into a compelling cost-saving and outcomes-oriented solution

Advise on messaging for stakeholders who care about obesity-related cost reduction, GLP-1 adherence and outcomes, preventative health strategy, and member engagement.

Facilitate Strategic Introductions

Introduce Protelicious to leaders across payer organizations, PBMs, large self-insured employers, employer benefits functions, corporate wellness programs, and healthcare innovation ecosystems

Support connections with decision-makers at organizations such as CVS Health / Aetna, UnitedHealth Group / Optum, Cigna / Express Scripts, Elevance Health, Mercer, Aon, Willis Towers Watson, and other relevant access channels

Help open doors to pilot opportunities, covered product discussions, and strategic partnership conversations

Participate in Growth and Capital Strategy

Provide guidance on long-term value creation, strategic access, and scalable growth

Support alignment with mission-driven partners, strategic stakeholders, and investors

Offer a perspective on how to build enduring enterprise value in an emerging and rapidly evolving category

You will

• Influence the strategic direction of a fast-growing company at the intersection of metabolic health, clean gourmet protein food innovation, and healthcare access
• Help shape the payer, PBM, employer benefits and strategic partnerships agenda that can define a new category in GLP-1 and metabolic health support
• Work closely with founders on scaling, partnerships, strategic priorities and long term value creation
• Contribute high-level strategic insight and market access relationships to an emerging company with significant growth potential

Ideal Candidates

We are particularly interested in leaders with experience in:

• Former senior executive roles at the VP to SVP level within CVS Health / Aetna, UnitedHealth Group / Optum, Cigna / Express Scripts, Elevance Health (Anthem), or Mercer / Aon on the benefits consulting side
• Former Partner or Senior Consultant roles in health benefits consulting, including Mercer, Aon, or Willis Towers Watson
• Former executive roles within a PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager)
• Payer strategy, health plan partnerships, or benefits access
• Employer-sponsored health plans, especially in self-insured employer environments
• PBM contracting, formulary strategy, or reimbursement-adjacent pathways
• Benefits consulting through firms such as Mercer, Aon, or Willis Towers Watson
• Corporate wellness, preventative health benefit design, or population health strategy
• Strategic partnerships, market access, or commercialization in healthcare, wellness, or benefits ecosystems
• Advisory, executive, investing, or operating roles connected to healthcare growth and access

Required Experience

• Significant leadership experience in payer strategy, employer benefits, PBM operations, health plan innovation, benefits consulting, or market access strategy
• 8-10+ years of relevant experience preferred in healthcare, payer organizations, PBMs, employer benefits, wellness, or high-growth businesses
• Demonstrated success in negotiating, evaluating, or approving inclusion of new products into benefit programs or strategic health offerings
• Strong understanding of who pays, how products get reimbursed or subsidized, and what drives adoption at scale across employers, insurers, and PBMs
• Strong network across payer organizations, PBMs, employer benefits leaders, or health benefits consulting ecosystems
• Ability to contribute strategic insight at an advisory level
