Role Description

This is a volunteer role suitable for a person with passion for education and business, legal, fundraising, and/or construction skill set; minimal time commitment.is required. The School Board Member will be responsible for participating in governing activities, ensuring the organization adheres to its mission, and collaborating with other board members in planning and oversight. Responsibilities include overseeing financial management and contributing to the strategic direction of the school.

Qualifications

• Leadership and decision-making skills with demonstrated experience in governance or advisory roles
• Strong understanding of educational programs, school operations, or familiarity with Montessori principles
• Financial oversight, budgeting, or financial planning skills
• Legal expertise on some level is desirable
• Communication, collaboration, and public relations skills to effectively engage with stakeholders
• Experience in educational leadership, organizational strategy, or community engagement is highly desirable
• Ability to dedicate time for regular meetings and contribute to the long-term success of the school
