Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dig crew helper to join our team who will be under general supervision, and perform manual labor associated with the installation and repairs of water and sewer systems.

What you’ll get to do:

· Our Dig Crew Helpers assist crew members on daily dig crew jobs such as excavation or replacing sewer and water lines

· As an excavation laborer, your duties span site preparation like digging trenches in the ground & accessing sewer lines directly, grading, drilling, excavating for water features or sewers, hauling dirt and transporting equipment

· During external sewer pipe excavation, a plumber and contractor will work hand-in-hand to dig trenches around the sewer line to expose the pipe and gain access to it

· Prioritize a positive safety culture by adhering to safety rules and regulations

· Maximize site efficiency and professionalism by conducting thorough site clean-ups

· Works in trenches and confined spaces

· Operates a backhoe or shovel to dig for sewer, water and gas line repair according to job requirements

· Maintains and fuels vehicle and stocks the service truck with adequate parts

About you:

· As we search for a Dig Crew Helper to help us maintain essential utilities, we’re looking for someone like you—a true everyday hero who values contributing to society, working as part of a team, and doesn’t mind getting your hands dirty

· You know this type of work isn’t for everyone, but it is for you because you enjoy getting dirty, working outside in any kind of weather, and being depended upon for emergencies. You’re motivated by new challenges, mother nature, work that makes you physically strong, and the relationships built by accomplishing hard things together as a team

· 1-2 years of underground experience preferred- but not necessary!

· Must be able to lift 100 lbs

· Valid Driver’s License is required

· Ability to pass an MVR and background check
