Staff Accountant, Arlington (80K-85K) Full Time NEW

LHH is working with a services company in Arlington, TX that is adding an experienced Staff Accountant to their team. This company is one of the largest in their industry, and the ideal candidate will have great tenure at a company that does business internationally. This role plays a crucial part in various accounting functions, providing extensive exposure to the entire accounting cycle and collaboration with global regions in a rapidly growing, international company.

This position pays 80K-85K and offers a flexible work environment and a Hybrid schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing general ledger journal entries.
• Processing month-end entries, eliminations, and allocations.
• Preparing, documenting, and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Developing and implementing accounting procedures through analysis of existing processes and recommending changes.
• Offering accounting support and engaging with departments across the organization.
• Collaborating with the management team to ensure full compliance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
• Assisting in internal control documentation, monitoring, and review.
• Preparing monthly intercompany entries with corporate entities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Accounting or Finance
• At least 2 year of accounting experience in a GAAP environment.
• Public accounting is desired
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).
• Proactive with the ability to identify problems and discrepancies, conduct independent research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions.
