ABOUT THE POSITION
The Fuel Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily fuel deliveries by working closely with drivers, sales, and customers to ensure efficient, timely, and safe operations.
- Schedule and coordinate daily fuel deliveries
- Assign loads to drivers and third-party haulers
- Plan deliveries based on inventory levels and customer demand
- Communicate with drivers, sales, and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor inventory and prioritize delivery needs
- Optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation
- Resolve delivery-related issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Perform other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (50 lbs occasionally)
