Who Are We Looking For
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Engineer, IT Infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing and building the foundational core systems that power our technology environment. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
What You Will Do
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure systems including servers, storage, and networking components
- Lead projects and efforts in design and implementation of systems architecture
- Manage and optimize cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; respond to incidents and outages
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Ensure infrastructure security through access controls, patching, and best practices
- Collaborate with software engineering teams and Security teams to support application deployment and performance
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Plan for scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Will Need
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Networking basics (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure as code (e.g Terraform), systems engineering, or DevOps roles
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Up to 20% of international and domestic travel
- Okta or comparable identity platform
- Thin client deployment and management
- Experience supporting multi-site or branch office environments
