Our client is looking for a long term contractor to work within the Document Control team. This is located in Alvin, Texas.
The Quality Document Specialist is a position within Quality Assurance. This position reports to the Corporate Quality Manager and assists the Sr. Document Control Specialist, and their customers, in the implementation, maintenance, and on-going development of the Quality Management System (QMS) documents. The Quality Document Specialist will maintain manuals, procedures, and forms as well as, format, edit, and proof controlled documents. This position maintains electronic document storage, change tracking, hard copy retention, and coordination of records. These records include procedures, forms, manuals, drawings, District job packages, document control approvals, and Quality Assurance program activities.
This position also serves as an administrative point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, communication of changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
