Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare POs for custom materials and keep track of data
- Problem solve long lead time and obsolete components
- Send files to different providers requesting quote
- Communicate and work directly with vendors to determine component pricing, lead time, etc.
- Thoroughly review all related assembly documents to determine customer requirements
- Interact with sales team regarding quote questions and challenges
- Continuously negotiate and improve material and manufacturing supplies lead time and pricing
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Data entry experience
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience using databases
- Organized and able to handle multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Detail oriented and professional demeanor
- Good problem solving and analytical skills and must be detailed oriented
- Positive energy and attitude
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP manufacturing systems is preferred, but not required
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
