2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer, Platform role is focused on building and maintaining backend services critical to the organization”s product ecosystem. This position contributes to the development of scalable, reliable APIs and infrastructure that support payments, subscriptions, analytics, text-to-speech features, and external integrations. The role is pivotal in aligning backend architecture with product strategy and user experience, enabling enterprise customization and ensuring the performance of backend systems. It suits candidates who are strategic thinkers, thrive in fast-paced settings, and have experience creating user-focused, technically sound solutions.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs including text-to-speech, payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking

• Manage and optimize backend API services for scalability and performance

• Collaborate on enterprise B2B solutions tailored for customization and integration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate backend architecture with overall product goals and user experience

4. Requirements:

• Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud services

• Ability to prioritize and implement tasks efficiently based on urgency and impact

• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployment

• Preferred: Experience deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes
