JOB SUMMARY:
The Facility Coordinator is responsible for helping keep FCS buildings, homes, vehicles, equipment, and workspaces safe, organized, functional, and ready for use.
This position completes assigned facility and operational tasks, including minor repairs, routine maintenance, moving furniture and equipment, setting up workspaces, checking buildings for maintenance or safety concerns, helping with vehicle movement, and supporting special projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Facility and Operational Support
· Basic knowledge of routine facility maintenance, minor repairs, equipment movement, workspace setup, and safe tool use.
· Ability to identify facility, equipment, vehicle, safety, and property concerns and communicate them through the appropriate channels.
· Ability to determine when a task can be completed in-house and when supervisor, vendor, or contractor support is needed.
Documentation and Follow Through
· Ability to follow written and verbal direction and complete assigned tasks without unauthorized deviation.
· Ability to document work clearly, accurately, timely, and in the format and location outlined by the supervisor.
· Ability to use agency systems to track, update, communicate, and close out assigned work.
· Understands that work is not complete until it is finished, documented, communicated, and closed.
Essential Functions:
· Complete assigned facility, maintenance, vehicle, vendor, and operational support tasks fully, accurately, and on time.
· Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, workspace setup, furniture movement, equipment movement, and basic facility support tasks.
· Walk through FCS locations to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, property issues, or equipment concerns.
· Track agency equipment, furniture, supplies, and assigned property, including where items are located, their condition, and who they are assigned to when applicable.
· Support employee onboarding and workspace readiness by ensuring assigned workspaces, equipment, and basic setup needs are prepared and working.
· Use agency systems, including maintenance software, Electronic Health Record, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite, to document, update, communicate, and close out assigned work.
· Complete documentation in the format, location, and level of detail outlined by the supervisor.
· Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors as directed, including scheduling, access to FCS locations, communication, follow up, and documentation.
· Communicate vendor updates, delays, concerns, estimates, schedule changes, and completed work to the supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
· Work inside FCS owned homes and service locations with respect for the people who live there or receive services there.
· Complete work in homes and program areas in a way that limits disruption to meals, rest, personal care, routines, privacy, and services.
· Protect private or confidential information that may be seen or heard while working in client homes, program spaces, or service locations.

HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
· Maintain a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with agency policy and procedures.
· Position is subject to a background check.
· Position requires annual TB testing.
· Position requires pre-employment drug screening.
· Position requires a CPR/First Aid certification.
· Must maintain a valid Alaska driver’s license with an acceptable DMV driving record.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Preferred: 1+ years of experience in office administration, IT support, or maintenance.
· Basic knowledge of technology setup and troubleshooting.
· Ability to follow structured workflows and communicate effectively.
