Role Description

The Mechanical R&D Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing innovative conveyor systems in accordance with market demands and client specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role located at our Union, NJ facility. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting research, performing product development, carrying out testing, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance conveyor system performance. The role will also involve addressing unique customer design requirements to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Research, Research and Development (R&D), and Testing
• Experience in Analytical Skills and Product Development
• Strong problem-solving and innovative design capabilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-departmental collaboration
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, materials handling, or manufacturing is preferred

Salary

• Range from $100,000 – $110,000
• In-office role

Experience

• 5+ years experience as Senior Mechanical Engineer or R&D Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing setting
• Higher degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc, MSc) preferred but not required
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English
