Job Description

Erickson Asphalt Services is seeking a Paver Operator to join our crew in the north metro area. This position works closely with equipment operators and crew leads to prepare parking lots and driveways for grading and paving. The role involves physical, hands-on work in all weather conditions.

Must be 18 years of age or older. Starting pay is based on experience and on job training is paid. Performance reviews are conducted after 30 days, with opportunities for wage increases and advancement within the company. CDL Class A is required for top pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually shovel, smooth, lift, pull, and carry asphalt materials
• Work closely with foreman to complete asphalt paving to specifications of the job
• Utilize mid-size Weiler Paver to repair and install asphalt surfaces
• Follow safety procedures and maintain situational awareness
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
• Complete tasks as assigned by management, supervisors, or crew leads
• Operate equipment as required and labor as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
• 1 Year Paving Experience
• Proficient in residential and commercial paving
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds daily
• Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and some weekends
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions

• Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal
• Work Location: In person from Princeton, MN

Schedule may include:

• 8-12+ hour shifts
• Monday–Friday
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Weekends as needed
