Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer Full Time

Role: Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & Data Platform)

Location: Dallas / New York / Orlando (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact team building and operating a scalable cloud-based data and analytics platform on Microsoft Azure.

This role focuses on enabling enterprise data workloads through secure, standardized, and highly automated CI/CD practices.

Role Overview

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines while contributing to a “golden path” delivery platform for Microsoft Fabric. You’ll collaborate closely with cloud architects, platform engineers, and product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and repeatable deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable CI/CD workflows
• Build and operate pipelines for validation, deployment, and environment promotion
• Support and enhance Microsoft Fabric platform delivery
• Implement Git-based workflows using GitHub Enterprise
• Embed observability practices (SLOs, monitoring, alerting)
• Analyze engineering metrics to drive improvements
• Collaborate with distributed teams across regions
• Provide guidance and support to product teams
• Leverage automation and AI-assisted tools to improve delivery quality

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, software, or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in GitHub & GitHub Actions (workflows, secrets, environments)
• Experience with Python for development or automation
• Knowledge of Azure Entra ID (RBAC, managed identities, service principals)
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
• Strong experience with YAML-based pipelines

Nice to Have

• Experience with data platforms or ETL pipelines
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, etc.)
• Experience deploying Power BI reports and semantic models
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines
