VACANCIES: All positions are part-time. Various opportunities exist for permanent and on call (temporary) assignments. The eligibility list will be used to fill both permanent and substitute (on-call) positions.
Permanent positions are 9.25 months per year, 6 hours per day (Monday through Friday), and include full benefits for the employee only. Work shifts are primarily during the hours of 11:40 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. Assignments may be in any part of the district boundaries (Glendale, La Crescenta, or Montrose).
Substitute positions are on call and as needed and are 6 hours per day. Work shifts are primarily during the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Substitute employees are paid a fixed hourly rate at the first step only. Education
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience
One year of experience working with students in a school setting or recent volunteer experience in a similar program.
Desirable
Written and oral proficiency in a second language.
