Adecco is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our client’s production team in Westbrook, Maine. In this role, you will receive prepared product from cook/mixers and operate packaging equipment to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality packing and labeling of finished goods.
Schedule: 1pm-9:30pm Mon-Fri
Pay: $20-$22 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, SQF, and internal quality programs
Maintain accurate batch card documentation and supporting records
Operate and set up all production lines independently
Coordinate with line operators, line workers, and temporary staff to ensure smooth production flow from container loading to palletizing
Monitor and ensure proper fill levels, weights, capping, shrink banding, labeling, and container cleanliness
Accurately document production quantities and pallet configurations
Deliver packaging materials to production lines as authorized
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Basic math and arithmetic skills
Mechanical aptitude to set up equipment, perform changeovers, and adjust controls
Ability to manage multiple aspects of production equipment simultaneously
Willingness and ability to be cross-trained on multiple production lines
Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace safety practices
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (10+ hours)
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. (team lift required for heavier loads)
Frequent bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and stooping
Ability to lift from floor to shoulder height regularly
Work Environment
Exposure to heat, humidity, and wet conditions
Moderate to loud noise levels

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
