The Opportunity

The Vice President, Government Strategic Alliances, is responsible for building, managing, and expanding Senture’s ecosystem of strategic partners across the federal, state, and local government markets. This role is a critical growth enabler as success increasingly depends on teaming, alliances, and partner-led pursuits.

This leader acts as an extension of TP’s government senior leadership and business development organization—bringing strong sales acumen and capture awareness—while focusing on partner strategy, relationship development, and opportunity acceleration rather than direct quota-carrying sales.

The Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and execute a government alliance strategy aligned with Senture’s growth objectives, service offerings, and target agencies.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard tier-one primes, mid-tier integrators, and small business partners (8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, WOSB, etc.).
• Structure and manage teaming agreements, MOUs, and partner frameworks to support long-term collaboration.
• Serve as the primary executive point of contact for assigned alliance partners.
• Build trusted relationships with partner leadership, BD, capture, and delivery teams.
• Maintain a partner portfolio with precise segmentation, prioritization, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development, Capture, Pricing, and Operations to:
• Align partners to upcoming opportunities
• Support capture strategies and win themes
• Ensure Senture is positioned effectively in partner-led pursuits
• Influence partner pursuit decisions to increase Senture’s inclusion in competitive bids.
• Support white-label, subcontractor, and joint-solution motions where appropriate.
• Act as a connector across internal teams to ensure alliance strategies are well understood and operationalized.
• Educate internal stakeholders on partner capabilities, contract vehicles, and small business considerations.
• Provide leadership with insights into market trends, partner feedback, and competitive dynamics.
• Establish alliance governance models, cadence, and performance metrics.
• Track alliance ROI, pipeline contribution, and win impact.
• Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and ethical standards.
• May lead or mentor a Small Business Alliance Manager or other alliance resources.
• Operate effectively as an individual contributor if organizational needs require.

The Qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience in government business development, strategic alliances, capture, or partnership management.
• Proven success building and managing alliances within federal, state, or local government markets.
• Strong understanding of:
• Government contracting vehicles
• Teaming and subcontracting models
• Small business participation requirements
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across internal and external stakeholders.
• High organizational discipline with the ability to manage multiple strategic relationships simultaneously.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Experience within a TP, BPO, IT services, or professional services organization.
• Prior roles with or alongside:
• Large system integrators
• Government contractors
• Existing relationships within the government contracting ecosystem.
• Familiarity with state and/or federal agencies.
