Maintenance Technician Wanted for Mackinaw Apartments in Cheboygan, MI.

Mackinaw Apartments is seeking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team for a year-round position.

Position Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for assisting the Service Manager in all areas of property maintenance. The primary responsibilities of this position include completing apartment turnovers and servicing requests in a timely and courteous manner.

Experience needed in:

electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, troubleshooting all involved as well as snow removal and being a part of an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs at single family apartment units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair, Residential Painting and Dry Wall Repair.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain optimal functionality.
• On call rotation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· 1-year related experience or training.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Able to work nights and weekends for emergencies and be available for on call rotation responsibilities.

· Capable of lifting 50lbs.

· Required to consent to a background screen.

· Excellent customer service skills.
