Otogenetics is seeking a full-time Clinical Genetic Counselor to join our expanding clinical team. This role is based in Atlanta, GA, and focused on telehealth patient genetic counseling.

The ideal candidate is a board-certified genetic counselor with experience in reproductive and hereditary cancer genetics who is passionate about patient care, health equity, and working in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telehealth post-test genetic counseling to patients for: Preconception and Prenatal Carrier Screening, Non-invasive prenatal screening testing (NIPT), Hereditary cancer genetic testing
• Review and interpret genetic test results and communicate findings clearly to patients and providers
• Document counseling sessions and clinical recommendations in a timely and thorough manner
• Collaborate with internal laboratory, clinical, and account executives to support high-quality care and efficient workflows
• Support providers by answering clinical questions and contributing to patient-centered care pathways
• Serve as an essential internal resource for Otogenetics team members including account executives, client services, and laboratory personnel
• Stay current with evolving guidelines, literature, and best practices in reproductive and oncology genetics
• Liaison between laboratory and external clinical genetic counselors, physicians, and clients

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program
• Board certification as a Genetic Counselor (ABGC or equivalent; must have passed board exams)
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
• Experience providing reproductive and/or hereditary cancer genetic counseling (experience in both strongly preferred)
• Comfort delivering care via telehealth including phone
• Based in the Atlanta Metro Area or willing to relocate to Atlanta (relocation assistance offered)
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical genetic counseling experience preferred
• Experience working in a laboratory or telehealth-based genetic counseling model
• Strong clinical judgment with a patient-centered, empathetic approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Potential flexibility in patient service during Mountain Time Zone business hours
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
