Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and driven Automation Specialist to join our global team in a full-time remote capacity. The selected candidate will be responsible for automating various business processes, integrating systems, and optimizing operational workflows. This role requires an individual with deep expertise in automation tools, scripting, software integration, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. As a key player within the technology department, the Automation Specialist will contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery by identifying and automating manual processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Automation Development:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce manual workloads.
• Build automation scripts and workflows using industry-standard tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Jenkins, or similar) and leverage APIs to integrate diverse software platforms.
• Perform rigorous testing and quality assurance on all automation systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.

2. Process Analysis & Optimization:

• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify automation opportunities.
• Recommend and implement enhancements that align with the business objectives, increase productivity, and reduce process bottlenecks.
• Conduct regular audits of automated processes to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.

3. Technical Documentation & Training:

• Create comprehensive technical documentation for all automation workflows, scripts, and systems, ensuring clarity and accessibility for future reference.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops for stakeholders to familiarize them with automated systems and encourage user adoption.

4. Collaboration & Communication:

• Engage with cross-functional teams, including software developers, IT support, business analysts, and stakeholders, to define automation requirements and priorities.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration of third-party systems with automation solutions.
• Report on the progress, success metrics, and challenges of automation initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders.

5. Troubleshooting & Support:

• Provide ongoing support for automated systems, promptly diagnosing and resolving technical issues or errors.
• Implement robust monitoring solutions to proactively detect system failures or performance issues and initiate corrective actions.

6. Security & Compliance:

• Ensure that all automation solutions comply with relevant security, privacy, and compliance standards, including GDPR, ISO 27001, and other applicable regulations.
• Implement and manage security protocols within automated systems to protect sensitive data and ensure secure access.

Salary:

• The salary for this position ranges up to $180,000 USD per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional performance-based bonuses and incentives are available, ensuring a competitive and rewarding compensation package.
