Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator Trainee to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operator Trainee, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Dipping group. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Short-Term Assignment – Manufacturing Operator Trainee
Location: Elk Rapids
Pay Range: $21-$23/hr, based on shift
Shift:
1st Shift: 4:30am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday, voluntary overtime Fridays
2nd Shift: 2:30pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday, voluntary overtime Fridays
Assignment anticipated to end at the end of July 2026, end date subject to change.
What’s the Job?
Operate and maintain machinery used in the production process, ensuring standards are consistently met.
Apply PTFE on blades accurately, without damaging the silicone coating.
Complete daily labor and log sheets to maintain accurate production records.
Package, seal, and prepare products for shipment while maintaining lot separation and traceability.
Support the overall efficiency of the production process by adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-1 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math skills and familiarity with computer operations.
Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and correctable normal reading distance vision.
