Duties

• Perform detailed diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues with ATV, motorcycle, and other powersports equipment
• Conduct repairs including engine overhauls, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and electrical troubleshooting
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to assemble, repair, or modify vehicle components
• Maintain mechanical knowledge to service vehicle systems such as transmissions, drive belts, cooling systems, and electrical wiring
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire replacements, brake pad replacements, and suspension tuning
• Assist customers by explaining repairs needed and providing excellent customer service throughout the service process
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation for all repairs performed

Experience

• Dealership experience or background working in an automotive or powersports repair shop preferred
• Proven service technician experience with hands-on mechanical work on ATVs, motorcycles, or similar vehicles
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and electrical systems troubleshooting
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques
• Familiarity with vehicle assembly processes and suspension systems repair or replacement
• Ability to lift heavy parts safely during repairs and maintenance tasks
• Excellent customer service skills combined with mechanic experience to ensure customer satisfaction
