2. About the Opportunity:
The Customer Care Reorder Representative I plays a key role in delivering professional and efficient customer service focused on processing medical supply reorders accurately and promptly. This position ensures customer needs are met by managing reorder workflows and facilitating clear communication between customers and relevant parties. The role directly contributes to maintaining positive customer experiences and operational efficiency within the organization.
3. Responsibilities:
• Process assigned reorder business including insurance verifications and customer information updates
• Ensure Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs) are valid and authorizations are obtained before shipping
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and triage as needed
• Communicate insurance coverage, deductibles, and financial responsibilities to customers
• Coordinate with customers, third-party payers, distributors, and case managers to complete orders
• Collect and process payments for out-of-pocket costs prior to shipment
• Create purchase orders for distributors
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and organizational values in all tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies and federal regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve concerns effectively
• Perform additional duties as required based on organizational needs
4. Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of experience in insurance eligibility verification
• Minimum one year of experience calculating deductibles and coinsurance for primary and secondary policies
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance programs
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Offers are based on individual skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
