Senior Director / Executive Director, Global Supply Chain & Logistics Full Time

The Senior Director / Executive Director, Global Supply Chain & Logistics will support corporate objectives by providing end-to-end strategic leadership and execution across global clinical and commercial supply operations. This role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted, compliant, and cost-effective supply of drug product from early clinical development through commercialization.

This position serves as a key cross-functional leader, partnering closely with Clinical Operations, CMC, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Finance, and external partners to manage complex global supply networks in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role oversees supply strategy, demand planning, external packaging and labeling, global logistics, budgets, risk management, and readiness for clinical studies and commercial launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead integrated global supply chain strategies supporting Phase 1–3 clinical trials and commercial readiness.
• Design scalable supply models aligned with development timelines, portfolio priorities, and anticipated commercial demand.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of drug product and packaged clinical and commercial materials.
• Lead and manage global packaging, labeling, and depot networks, ensuring capacity, capability, and performance.
• Lead global demand forecasting and supply planning activities, including scenario modeling and risk mitigation.
• Align supply plans with Finance, Manufacturing, and Program teams to support budgets and production planning.
• Oversee global logistics, cold-chain distribution, packaging, and labeling strategies in compliance with global regulations.
• Support NDA and MAA submissions by providing supply, manufacturing, and logistics inputs.
• Lead launch readiness planning, including inventory strategy, commercial handoff, and clinical-to-commercial transitions.
• Ensure GxP and GDP compliance across internal operations and external partners; support audits and inspections.
• Own supply chain budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Build and lead high-performing global supply chain teams and establish a culture of operational excellence.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks across development and commercial stages.
• Communicate complex supply chain topics clearly to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology supply chain roles.
• Significant experience managing global external supply chain/depot networks.
• Demonstrated experience supporting NDA/MAA submissions and commercial product launches.
• Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle from IND through commercialization.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, global teams and influence at senior leadership levels.
• Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex environments.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel up to approximately 15%

Pay Range and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $255,513 – $270,040 USD

Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, skills, education, training, and experience.
