Go‑To‑Market Lead Intern, Community Partnerships Full Time NEW

Location: Remote, based anywhere in the U.S. To be a fit for this role, you should:

• Live in or near a medium‑to‑large metro area (for example: a college town or city with several senior‑living or memory‑care communities).
• Be able to visit local elder‑care facilities in person (by car or public transit) to host Story Hours and meet with staff.
• Commit to 1–2 on‑site visits per week during the pilot period, with the rest of the work done remotely (outreach, scheduling, reporting).

About Capsle Stories

Capsle Stories is a family storytelling app that helps people capture the memories, experiences, and wisdom of their loved ones through guided video prompts and photo questions. Our ideal customer is a 25-55 year old who wants to preserve their parents’ and grandparents’ stories before it’s too late.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a GTM Lead Intern (Community Partnerships Intern) to run a focused go‑to‑market experiment for Capsle Stories, building and testing partnerships with local elder‑care and memory‑care facilities.

Your mission is to:

• Proactively recruit 1–3 local elder‑care or memory‑care facilities into a pilot program by emailing, calling, visiting them in person, and (if helpful) creating and running simple outreach campaigns on our Instagram to build relationships and earn their trust.
• Launch and run those pilots, then measure how well they work for residents, families, and staff.

You will:

• Identify and contact potential partner facilities in your local area.
• Pitch a simple “Story Hour with Capsle Stories” program.
• Visit facilities in-person to help residents and families use the app during sessions.
• Track results and feedback, then present what you learned and what we should do next.

This is a hands‑on role for a student who wants real ownership over a project that has both business and social impact, and a chance to play a pivotal role in helping Capsle Stories go from zero to one and find product‑market fit.

What You’ll Do

1. Channel Partner Outreach

• Build a targeted list of elder‑care, memory‑care, and senior‑living communities in your area.
• Iterate on provided email templates to reach out, follow up, and book intro calls with administrators and activity directors to pitch a “Story Hour with Capsle Stories” pilot. The hardest part will be reaching the right decision‑maker (often the Activities or Executive Director), which will usually mean going in‑person to facilities and politely asking to speak with them.

2. Pilot Program Execution

• Coordinate logistics and scheduling with each participating facility.
• Help host small‑group or 1:1 “Story Hour” sessions:
• Support residents and families as they download the Capsle Stories app, create an account, and try out recording their first stories.
• Troubleshoot basic tech issues and note any usability pain points, especially for elders.
• Ensure pilots follow a simple playbook you’ll refine (session agenda, materials, follow‑up).

3. Measurement & Insight

• Track key metrics for each facility:
• Number of facilities who tried out a pilot
• Number of residents who recorded at least one story
• Facility satisfaction and likelihood to recommend the “Story Hours with Capsle Stories” program
• Run short surveys with families and staff, and collect qualitative feedback.
• Synthesize what you learn into a short written report and slide deck: what worked, what didn’t, and what we should do next.

Success Metrics

By the end of the internship, success looks like:

• At least one (ideally three) elder‑care or memory‑care facility has completed a pilot of the “Story Hours with Capsle Stories” program.
• At least five (ideally 15+) residents across facilities have recorded at least one story in Capsle Stories.
• Facility interest in continuing or expanding the “Story Hour with Capsle Stories” program.
• A concise final report that summarizes quantitative outcomes, key qualitative feedback, and clear next‑step recommendations for moving Capsle Stories toward product‑market fit in this channel.

These numbers are deliberately modest so as to be achievable within the 8-10 week time frame. You’ll own these outcomes with our support.

Who You Are

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are a junior/senior undergrad or grad student interested in go‑to‑market strategy, tech startups, social entrepreneurship, product leadership, someday founding your own company, or learning how to use AI to power your workflow.
• Are energized by talking to people—whether that’s emailing administrators, hopping on Zoom, or sitting with elders during a Story Hour. Bonus points if you have a theater background—in my experience, stage experience really helps with the nerves!
• Are organized and self‑directed: you can manage a small pipeline of leads, follow up reliably, and keep clean notes.
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and learning in public; you like testing ideas, seeing what works, and iterating quickly.
• Care about intergenerational connection, storytelling, oral history, or legacy.

Nice‑to‑have (not required):

• Experience with sales, outreach, or community organizing
• Experience volunteering with elders, in healthcare, or in senior‑living settings

What You’ll Get

• Compensation: This is a funded project fellowship. You’ll receive a $2,000–$2,500 total stipend for completing the 8–10 week project (roughly 10–15 hours/week), contingent on actively driving the pilots and delivering the final report.
