Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HazMat Truck Driver to join our team to cover dedicated runs to Austin, TX. As a HazMat Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires Hazardous Materials and X endorsement. TWIC card preferred. 1099 position
Drive lane:
MGC, Killeen TX – Micron in VA (9600 Godwin Dr, Manassas, VA 20110
Pay Rate:
$1,800 per round trip
Plus $25 per diem per day
Duties:
– Safely operate and maneuver trucks to transport goods and materials
– Follow all traffic Company Policies, laws and regulations while driving
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
– Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
– Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports
– Adhere to company policies and procedures for safety and efficiency
Skills:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– At least 2 years operating Class A CMV with dedicated HazMat experience.
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
– Excellent communication skills to coordinate deliveries with dispatchers and team members
– Attention to detail for completing necessary paperwork accurately
– Experience with computers and E logs.
