Job Title: Restaurant Operating Partner

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Operating Partner to join our team. As the Operating Partner, you will oversees all daily operations to ensure a high standard of food quality, customer service, compliance with government mandates in terms of labor, safety & health and financial performance. This position is responsible for managing staff, maintaining a positive environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all restaurant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure smooth operation during peak hours and resolve operational issues swiftly.
• Promote team collaboration and provide ongoing staff training and development.
• Enforce restaurant policies and procedures to maintain a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional events and marketing strategies.
• Control costs by managing inventory, labor, and operational expenses.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Implement and uphold standards for cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant.
• Regularly gather and analyze customer feedback (e.g., surveys, comment cards) to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts and oversee ordering processes.
• Analyze financial data to ensure profitability and identify areas for cost-saving improvements.
• Ensure the restaurant complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety, labor laws, and licensing. Oversee safety and security procedures, including cash handling and opening/closing protocols.
• Utilize restaurant management software for staff scheduling, inventory control, and operational reports. Implement technology solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned to meet the restaurant’s operational goals and business needs.

Skills Required:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management
• At least 2-3 years of hospitality experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g., Toast, Homebase)
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Knowledgeable about strategies to increase sales, such as promotions, loyalty programs, and community engagement.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, profit margins, and revenue forecasting.

• Starting pay will be $24-$28 an hour.
