We are hiring a Design & Release Engineer to support advanced vehicle systems and collaborate across engineering domains for successful product launches.

Role: Design & Release Engineer

 Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)

 Experience: 4+ years

Role Overview:

The Design & Release Engineer plays a critical role in the development, validation, and release of automotive components and systems, particularly within connected vehicle and infotainment domains

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage design, release & validation of automotive components
• Ensure APQP deliverables & supplier compliance
• Oversee DFMEA, validation reports & technical reviews
• Handle engineering change requests and issue resolution
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (SW, HW, Mechanical)
• Track KPIs, warranty issues & product maturity

Mandatory Skills:

• Automotive ECU Software Development
• Android Development
• ASPICE & AWS tools
• CAN tools: Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL
• Middleware & HAL development

Nice to Have:

• Kotlin / Java
• Python / UML / JSON
