Performs direct supervision of Patient Account Representatives in the Patient Business Office. Ensures accurate and timely resolution of patient accounts. Ensures billing compliance with the complex, ever-changing governmental regulations. Monitors quality performance and productivity of personnel. Develops goals for staff members and documents progress. Communicates by telephone and written correspondence with payor representatives, patients and co-workers to collect information relative to claims resolution. Provides initial training for new employees and provides on-going training as needed. Responsible for all other duties as may be necessary to ensure timely payment on accounts.
