Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure our guest environments are spotless, well-maintained, and welcoming. The Houseman is responsible for supporting housekeeping operations through efficient cleaning, floor care, and custodial duties, contributing to a pristine and comfortable atmosphere that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to ensure a spotless environment
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment to facilitate deep cleaning or room setup as needed
• Support the housekeeping team with inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as waste removal, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold hygiene standards
• Ensure all areas meet safety and cleanliness regulations by adhering to established protocols
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or assistance, demonstrating excellent hospitality service

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial procedures
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies preferred
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
