Auto Body Repair Technician Full Time NEW

Job Summary
We are seeking an Auto Body Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who above all has a great attitude and enjoys working as part of a small team. You should enjoy working on all types of vehicles and repair types, from collision to restoration and customization. You should enjoy working in a shop where quality takes precedent over speed. We are NOT a production shop. We pride ourselves in knowing our customers, understanding their needs and expectations and meeting or exceeding them, you should share the same mindset. Your skills should including collision and fabrication work the ability to assemble parts, perform auto painting, and conduct welding tasks. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Your level of experience will determine rate of pay.

This is a unique opportunity with varied work from collision to customization of specialty vehicles. We are looking for a great attitude and a willingness to grow with us as we continue to expand. Responsibilities

• Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs.
• Perform bodywork, including welding, assembling parts, and repairing.
• Complete custom work on specialty vehicles as needed.
• Work on a variety of vehicles including autos, vans and trucks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
• Lift heavy components as needed during repair processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in welding techniques and auto painting processes.
• Familiarity with auto estimating practices is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $18.00 – $45.00 per hour
