Humin exists to meet that need. Founded by renowned neuroscientist Dr. Richard J. Davidson, we deliver science-backed mental wellbeing programs developed in partnership with the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and other world-class research institutions. Our offerings include freely available resources such as the Kindness Curriculum for kindergarten classrooms (available in English and Spanish), as well as paid professional development programs, digital learning experiences, and institutional partnerships designed to advance mental wellbeing in education.

About the Role

Humin is building the leading science-backed mental wellbeing platform, and education is a core growth vertical. We are looking for a Product Manager who sits at the intersection of product development and the K-12 and higher education markets: someone who can package our programs into compelling institutional offerings, cultivate champion networks, and own the go-to-market strategy for schools and districts.

This is a founding role for Humin’s education vertical. You will work closely with the CPO, science team, and services team to define, build, and launch new programs for school districts and university partners.

What You Will Own
Product Packaging and Development

• Define and build the end-to-end K-12 product: mobile app access, training modules, assessments, content library, and white-glove implementation support
• Develop tiered offerings that address the full range of district budget realities
• Expand current program content into structured offerings with pre/post assessments, measurable data outputs, and reporting capabilities
• Identify and close content gaps, including teacher-specific practices, CEU-accredited content, and certification programs

Go-to-Market and Champion Development

• Own the K-12 sales and partnership strategy, engaging HR teams, teacher unions, and curriculum directors alongside senior district leadership
• Cultivate district champions who can authentically evangelize programs to peers
• Lead execution on commitments tied to grant and donor initiatives
• Develop program marketing materials tailored to district sales cycles

Implementation and Outcomes

• Design scalable implementation processes and outcome-tracking frameworks for district-level rollout
• Establish best practices for program deployment, teacher onboarding, and long-term retention
• Partner with the science team to translate research outcomes into credible, district-ready proof points
• Track efficacy and persistence of program outcomes to support year-over-year renewal conversations

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with the Chief Science Officer on teacher-specific content development and CEU accreditation pathways
• Coordinate with Operations on grant execution and course administration
• Align with Engineering on B2B product capabilities including SSO, LMS integration, cohort creation, and deep linking
• Collaborate with marketing on strategic launch calendars and campaigns

Who You AreRequired Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the K-12 education market, including how districts buy, who the real decision-makers are (curriculum directors, HR leaders, unions), and how budget cycles work
• Demonstrated experience in edtech or institutional product management, with a track record of translating district or campus stakeholder needs into well-scoped product requirements
• Fluency with the edtech product ecosystem: LMS integrations (Canvas, Schoology, or similar), SSO and rostering standards (Clever, ClassLink), FERPA compliance, and institutional procurement vehicles
• Experience designing products where the buyer and end user are distinct, with an understanding of the different jobs to be done for an HR director evaluating a program versus a teacher using it daily
• Ability to define and communicate data and reporting requirements that meet institutional accountability needs, including usage dashboards, outcome summaries, and board-ready metrics
• Track record building or scaling education programs, curriculum, or professional development offerings
• Familiarity with SEL, teacher wellbeing, or mental health in educational contexts
• Strong discovery and communication skills, with the ability to run structured stakeholder interviews with district leaders and translate insights into actionable product strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in CEU accreditation, train-the-trainer models, or certification program development
• Familiarity with grant management and foundation relationships
• Experience in higher education (relevant to future vertical expansion)
