Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse operations, including materials handling, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient processes and maintaining safety standards while leading a team of associates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations within the distribution center, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Manage the loading and unloading of motorcycles, ATV’s and UTV’s ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
• Oversee the operation of forklifts to facilitate effective materials handling.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock management practices.
• Implement safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within a distribution center environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques, shipping, and receiving procedures.
• Ability to run a forklift is a must.
• Ability to build effective teams through strong leadership skills and clear communication.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
