We’re looking for a Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to join our Team Full Time
Day Shift Monday-Friday & Every Other Weekend – 7a-3p
Housekeeping / Laundry Aide Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and building
- Ensures all resident and facility items are thoroughly laundered using laundry products as directed by the supervisor, adhering to state and federal guidelines for clean/safety standards
- Follow established safety work area procedure
- Changing gloves and washing hands between rooms
- Assuring all infection control procedures are followed
- Washing, drying, folding linen and clothing items in a neat manner. Resident clothing is hung and sorted on racks by room and floors for easy delivery.
- Sorts and delivers resident items daily/weekly. Ensures all items are clearly marked with resident names. Assists to identify any unmarked/unclaimed items.
- Keep halls clear of objects (ie. tables, beds, carts) to ensure safe pathways
- Assists residents in hanging up and organizing their belongings being delivered
- Assist in moving and/or removing heavy objects and room relocations as directed
- Ensure room readiness for new residents by deep cleaning room, preparing bed with new linens/comforter, and placing bed in highest position
- Performs other reasonable duties as directed by the leadership team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
