Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager (Digital Health) to lead and manage healthcare IT and digital transformation initiatives across CVS Health platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise within the healthcare domain, with hands-on experience managing projects related to claims processing, pharmacy systems, and digital healthcare transformation.
The candidate should be capable of driving cross-functional collaboration, managing stakeholders, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering projects successfully within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage healthcare IT projects, including claims processing systems and pharmacy platforms
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across healthcare applications and enterprise systems
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and CMS guidelines
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting to senior management
- Work within Agile and Waterfall delivery models based on project requirements
- Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance reviews
- Ensure successful project delivery with high quality and business alignment
Required Skills
- 8+ years of Project Management experience
- Strong healthcare domain experience is mandatory
- Experience managing healthcare IT projects involving claims and pharmacy systems
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and CMS
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification preferred
- Scrum Certification preferred
- Experience working with CVS Health platforms is a strong plus
- Prior experience in digital health transformation projects is highly desirable
