What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Assist with legal inquiries from staff and take the lead on client requests
- Intake new cases, verify information, and draft cases in the employer’s system
- Assign and schedule new cases to physicians based on various requirements
- Maintain frequent communication with clients regarding case progress and documentation
- Monitor and track case deadlines to ensure timely completion
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with clients
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage time efficiently
- Proficient computer literacy and typing skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous experience supporting litigation or as a legal assistant
- Familiarity with workflow processes in a legal or healthcare context
- Experience working alongside defense counsel
- Knowledge of regulations relevant to the legal services industry
- Ability to handle sensitive case matters with discretion and empathy
