Duties

• Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
• Support catering functions by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Handle food products responsibly, adhering to proper food handling procedures at all times

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
• Familiarity with kitchen and meal prep, and food handling procedures in a restaurant or banquet event industry setting
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others
• Prior experience in catering or food service roles is a plus
