Job Overview

The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician is responsible for ensuring all recreational vehicles (RVs) are fully inspected, tested, and prepared for customer delivery. This role plays a critical part in the customer experience by verifying that each unit is safe, functional, clean, and meets dealership quality standards prior to handoff. The PDI Technician works closely with the service and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate unit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections on all RV units, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes
• Inspect and test all major systems, including, electrical (12V/120V), plumbing and water systems, HVAC systems, propane systems, and appliances
• Identify, document, and report any defects, damages, or required repairs
• Complete minor repairs and adjustments as needed to prepare units for delivery
• Ensure all manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations are met
• Conduct final quality control checks prior to customer delivery
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Technicians to resolve outstanding repair items
• Ensure units are clean, presentable, and fully operational
• Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness of the service and lot areas
• Follow all safety procedures, especially when working with propane systems and electrical components
• Support delivery timelines to meet customer and sales expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Regular hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5pm with rotating Saturday. This is a non-exempt position, which means you are eligible for overtime pay. Pay starts at $18/hr and increases based on your experience and qualifications.
