Express Care Medical Assistant- Parsons

Description:
This role is responsible for assisting providers with patient care,
performing clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth
workflow within the clinic.
Location:Primary base in Parsons Express Care
Schedule:Thursday-Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain and document patient vitals, medical history, and symptoms.
Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection.
Maintain clean and organized exam rooms.
Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred.
Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.
CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.
