Metrc Compliance (Cultivation) Full Time NEW

Overview
The Metrc Compliance position is essential for ensuring that all cultivation/Production operations adhere to state regulations and internal policies. This role involves maintaining compliance with the Metrc tracking system, conducting audits, and ensuring proper documentation of all cultivation/production activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and compliance regulations, contributing to the overall integrity and efficiency of our cultivation/production processes. This individual must have 3-4 years of experience. MUST have directly done all submissions for ACCELA , METRC & QUARTLERY/YEARLY REPORTS. Compliance team assists with outbound orders if the Metrc portion is completed soon. Compiance team will assist with all CCB visits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain compliance with Metrc regulations throughout the cultivation process.
• Conduct regular audits of cultivation practices to ensure adherence to state laws and internal policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all cultivation activities, including plant counts, transfers, and inventory management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for staff members.
• Provide technical accounting support related to cultivation operations as needed.
• Utilize financial acumen to analyze data trends and report findings to management.

Requirements

• Must have experience with : Metrc cannabis system, quarterly/yearly reports for CCB, & ACCELA cannabis platform.
• Proficiency in financial concepts related to compliance and operational efficiency.
• Understanding of technical accounting principles relevant to the cannabis industry.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

This position requires a proactive approach to compliance management within the cultivation sector, ensuring that all operations are conducted legally and ethically.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 – $3,400.00 per month
