As a project manager on the Sourcing Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives to optimize our sourcing operations needs. In order to be successful, a strong candidate has experience working cross-functionally to define and mitigate risks, execute a project plan, and communicate with clarity across various teams and stakeholders. Strong project management skills required, and an open and curious mind encouraged.
As a project manager, you will…
Support highly cross functional initiatives impacting the business by leading the planning, implementation, and monitoring of complex, highly cross-functional projects.
Build relationships across the business and enterprise to collaborate and influence the outcomes of complex programs, delivering integrated project approaches.
Have a clear ability to move the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
We’d love to hear from people with:
Strong project management skills
Strong understanding of budgeting and financial competency
Experience leading large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects
Ability to lead cross functional collaborations with business partners and stakeholders
2+ years – project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications.
3 years – managing large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects.
2+ years – building and mentoring teams.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate
