Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack / Backend-Leaning)

📍 San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid – 3+ days onsite)

This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area (minimum 3 days per week onsite).

We are building a next-generation, AI-native platform transforming a trillion-dollar industry. Our product combines advanced AI workflows with real-world operations to power a full-stack commerce and logistics platform serving customers nationwide.

We are looking for a high-caliber Generalist Software Engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys owning systems end-to-end.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build production-grade backend and full-stack systems
• Own features end-to-end from concept through deployment and iteration
• Architect scalable services and APIs powering core product workflows
• Collaborate closely with product and design to deliver user-facing impact
• Contribute to technical architecture and long-term engineering strategy
• Help embed AI-driven workflows directly into product and operational systems

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 4–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining production systems
• Experience working in startup or high-velocity environments preferred
• Experience at top-tier technology companies is a strong plus

Technical Skills

Strong backend or full-stack orientation with experience in:

• Go and/or TypeScript
• Python
• Node.js
• React, Next.js, or similar modern frontend frameworks
• Distributed systems and API design
• Databases such as MySQL
• Caching and messaging systems (Redis, Pub/Sub, etc.)

Strongly Preferred

• Experience embedding LLM or AI workflows into production products
• Familiarity with agentic systems, state machines, or workflow orchestration
• Experience building marketplace, commerce, or operational platforms
• Comfort working across the stack in a generalist capacity

Compensation

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
