Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Software Engineering role, based in Arlington, VA, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software systems, focusing on back-end web development and software architecture. The role involves implementing scalable solutions, writing clean code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continually enhancing systems to meet both internal and external user needs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and system architecture
- Expertise in Back-End Web Development with experience in creating scalable and secure systems
- Strong skills in Software Development principles, including coding, debugging, and deployment
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Experience working with cloud platforms, APIs, and distributed systems is a plus
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment while also excelling independently
- Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to approach challenges from unique perspectives
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
