Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Hendrix & Siena, a newer restaurant in downtown Hopkins from chef Rhett Roberts. We are a small, locally- and family-owned restaurant serving fresh, handmade pasta alongside pizza and small plates. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional hospitality experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Food preparation for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Monitor food quality and consistency before serving.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures used in the kitchen at Hendrix & Siena.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to take direction and follow detailed recipes.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Timeliness and respect for other staff members is essential.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills is highly valued.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
