Position: Technician Manager (Co-Managing Role)
Location: Austin, Texas
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday (5-day work week)
Compensation: $45,000 – $55,000 annually (based on experience)

Reliant Pest Management is a fast-growing, customer-centric residential pest control company serving the greater Austin area. Our Austin branch is a high-performing $4.6M operation known for exceptional service, technical expertise, and a strong team culture. We are looking for a Technician Manager to co-manage our field service team alongside the Branch Manager.

Role Summary
As Technician Manager, you will serve as a co-manager of field operations. This is a working manager position where you will directly lead, support, and develop our team of residential pest control technicians while working closely with the Branch Manager to drive daily performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities

• Co-manage and directly supervise a team of 8–12 residential pest control technicians
• Handle daily routing, scheduling, and efficient service execution
• Conduct ride-alongs, quality audits, technical training, and performance coaching
• Address escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution
• Enforce safety protocols, Texas pesticide regulations, and company service standards
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing technician development
• Partner with the Branch Manager on inventory control, vehicle maintenance, and branch performance goals
• Support sales initiatives and provide technical expertise in the field
• Track and improve key metrics (completion rates, callback reduction, customer reviews, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on residential pest control experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Valid Texas Pest Control License (or ability to obtain one within 60 days)
• Strong technical knowledge of common Austin-area pests (termites, fire ants, rodents, wildlife, lawn pests, etc.)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a co-managing environment and work collaboratively with the Branch Manager
• Must be available to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule (off Sunday & Monday)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
• Passion for mentoring technicians and continuous team improvement
