Vice President of Partnerships – Job DescriptionPosition Summary

The Vice President of Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s global partnership strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic value creation. This role leads the identification, negotiation, and management of high-impact partnerships, ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership Strategy & Growth

• Define and implement a comprehensive partnerships strategy aligned with corporate objectives
• Identify and prioritize strategic partners across industries, geographies, and ecosystems
• Drive revenue growth through alliances, channel partnerships, and joint ventures

Deal Structuring & Negotiation

• Lead complex partnership negotiations, including commercial, legal, and operational terms
• Structure innovative partnership models (e.g., revenue share, OEM, co-development, licensing)
• Ensure alignment with financial goals and risk tolerance

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key partners
• Serve as the primary escalation point for partnership-related matters
• Ensure high partner satisfaction, engagement, and retention

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams
• Align internal stakeholders to maximize partnership outcomes
• Support go-to-market strategies and joint initiatives

Performance Management

• Establish KPIs and performance frameworks for partnerships
• Track partnership ROI, revenue contribution, and strategic impact
• Optimize and scale high-performing partnerships

Market Intelligence & Innovation

• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
• Identify new partnership models and ecosystem opportunities
• Position the company as a preferred strategic partner

Team Leadership & Development

• Build and lead a high-performing partnerships organization
• Develop talent, capabilities, and best practices
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 15+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-impact partnerships
• Strong negotiation and deal-making skills
• Experience working with senior executives and global stakeholders
• Deep understanding of partnership ecosystems and business models
