The Director of Operational Excellence is the core person in charge of the company’s operational system construction and continuous improvement, and is fully responsible for driving process optimization, efficiency improvement, quality management, and digital operation upgrades. This position enhances organizational execution and operational maturity by establishing a standardized, lean, and data-driven operational system, supporting the high-quality implementation of the company’s strategic goals.
Main Responsibilities:
I. Operational Excellence Strategy and System Construction
Develop an operational excellence development plan based on the company’s overall strategy;
Establish unified operational standards, processes, and management norms;
Build a sustainable improvement mechanism and operational maturity model;
Promote the construction of large-scale, standardized operational capabilities.
II. Process Optimization and Efficiency Improvement
Analyze end-to-end business processes, identifying bottlenecks and redundant links;
Promote Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and lean management practices;
Improve cross-departmental collaboration efficiency and response speed;
Establish a process performance evaluation and continuous improvement mechanism.
III. Operational Performance and Data Management
Establish an operational KPI indicator system and monitoring mechanism;
Utilize data analysis to support decision optimization;
Conduct regular operational reviews and improvement assessments;
Promote a data-driven and transparent management culture.
IV. Quality Management and Risk Control
Establish a quality management system and internal control mechanism;
Promote the implementation of quality improvement projects and standards;
Identify operational risks and establish an early warning mechanism;
Ensure business operations comply with company policies and regulations.
V. Digitalization and System Upgrade Support
Promote the implementation of operations management systems and digital tools;
Optimize data integration and information flow efficiency;
Support automated and intelligent operational upgrades;
Promote synergistic development between business and IT.
VI. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Organizational Empowerment
Coordinate the implementation of improvement projects across departments;
Train and empower business teams to master excellent operational methods;
Establish an excellent operational culture and a continuous improvement mindset;
Support management in enhancing operational decision-making capabilities.
Qualifications
Education Background
Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
MBA or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
Work Experience
Over 20 years of experience in operations management or process optimization;
Experience in cross-departmental operational improvement or large-scale transformation projects;
A track record of successfully driving efficiency improvements or cost optimization;
Experience in large-scale enterprises or multi-business units preferred.
