Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled foods while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook grilled items according to menu specifications and customer preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality dishes.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen environment.

Skills

• Proficient in food preparation techniques, including grilling, frying, and sautéing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely, including knives and grills.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Previous experience as a cook or dietary aide is preferred but not required.
