Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contact Lens Technician to work alongside our eye care providers in fitting and managing our soft contact lens patients. As the lead employee of our contact lens department, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of this specialized service area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist eye care providers in the fitting, evaluation, and management of soft contact lens patients
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all contact lens department operations
- Educate patients on proper contact lens wear, care, and handling
- Maintain accurate patient records and contact lens inventories
- Coordinate contact lens orders, follow-up appointments, and patient communications
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and professionalism
Qualifications
- Experience as an Optometric Technician, Ophthalmic Technician, or Optician is required
- Certification from the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) is highly valued
- We will sponsor and fully cover the cost of NCLE certification for the right candidate!
- Dependable, self-motivated, and compassionate with a team-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
