Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently assisting customers with their moving needs, handling loading and unloading of belongings, and ensuring a smooth transition from origin to destination. Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using appropriate moving equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit
• Operate various types of vehicles including box trucks and other commercial driving vehicles with manual transmission as required
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, including route details and delivery confirmations
• Collaborate with team members to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries or moves
• Ensure all moving equipment is maintained in good condition and report any issues promptly

Experience

• Prior experience in moving services or warehouse environments is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license with experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission
• Delivery driver experience or courier background preferred, demonstrating familiarity with route driving and load management
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, forklift operation, pallet jack usage, and safety procedures in physical handling tasks
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy items repeatedly throughout the day
